The Hugs

Portland garage-pop band The Hugs seemingly sprang fully formed from their teen years, signed to Columbia Records in 2007 before they'd graduated from high school. With their Brit-pop leanings, the band toured and played widely in the UK and made their first record in London in 2008. That record wasn't released and the band was dropped by Columbia in 2009. Since then, The Hugs have released three albums and their forthcoming Feelings of Life is due in March 2016.
