Nané
Nané (Nah-nay) came together in 2016 at The University of Texas at Austin where Daniel Shahad and guitarist, Ian Green, would drink and play cover songs for their friends. The pair quickly realized their potential to write original music together. The boys added bass player Scott McIntyre to the lineup and began writing their debut album while performing with Dayglow drummer, Brady Knippa, and Black Pumas keyboardist, JaRon Marshall. Nané quickly rose in the Austin music scene opening for national Black Pumas, Bob Schneider, Eric Tessmer and Sir Woman. For the self-titled release, out November 2020, the band worked with Grammy-award winning drummer, John Speice IV, and Adrian Quesada of the Black Pumas.
