MELD's sound can be described as "UniverSOUL." A cinematic soulful experience, people have likened her to a modern Janis Joplin meets Hiatus Kaiyote. In November of 2020 amidst a national election and global pandemic, MELD's debut album "Words of the Water" was released into the world after receiving praise from Forbes, Live for Live Music, The Tennessean, and more. Mastered by Anthony Thogmartin (EarthCry, Papadosio,) and mixed by Paco Cosette (Sturgill Simpson,) the album was sculpted by many talented hands. Complete with messages of environmental activism and radical self love, the album is tied together with a spoken word meditation featuring Amber Lily, Marya Stark, Katie Buxton, Heather Christie, Shira Elias, Alanna Royale, Maureen Murphy, Jess Nolan, and Phantom Vanity. All streams from this song raise money for ocean plastic cleanup. This release follows her debut EP "H.U.R.T." (Healing Under Rising Truth.) MELD's single "Easy On The Game" received nods from Nylon Mag, BTRToday, and more. In the past, MELD has toured and played several dates with Ayla Nereo, and shared the stage with The Main Squeeze, Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, Zoogma, Brothers Past, Maggie Rose and Teddy Geiger. She has played music festivals Music On The Mothership Festival In Taos, New Mexico, and Sonic Bloom. Based in Nashville, MELD's goal is to spread the healing of music as far and wide as possible.
