Lomelda

Lead by the voice and songwriting of Hannah Read, Lomelda makes music that is both accessible and exploratory, familiar and challenging. The sound features strong vocals, spacey guitars, and intricate percussion. Hannah’s guitar lines range from mellow woody rhythmic patterns to heavy droning textures, while the dynamic drumming of Zachary Daniel adds weight to the subtleties of the songs. Themes range from social structures and memory making/retention, to comedic timing and anger management — the usual. It’s all about the bounds of communication, human potential, and nostalgia in sound.
