Kekuhi and Kaumakaiwa Kanaka’ole

Kekuhi K. Kanahele and Kaumakaiwa Kanaka‘ole, mother and daughter, come together to give a presentation to anchored in Hawaiian practice, perspective, and traditional ecological knowledge, exploring the meaning of traditional Hawaii indigenous thought, practice and values in addressing the power of environmental kinship through hula (dance ritual), mele (poetry text), and leo (vocalization).
