Halldór Eldjárn

Halldór Eldjárn (h.dór) is an Icelandic musician, drummer and producer, mainly known for his band SYKUR. Halldór released his first single October 2015, Desert coinciding with his performance at Icelandic Airwaves, a concert where he single handedly managed to raise a seated crowd up from their seats to dance to his party-flavoured tunes and more importantly violate the venue's fire safety rules. Sound Asleep is his second single, released in May 2016, which received critical acclaim among local newspapers, tastemakers and alligators. With more exciting releases to follow, Halldór intends to shift his listeners towards melodically induced ecstasy with a live performance involving electrifying visuals, drum robots and chest-thumping bass drums.
