HAERTS

German natives Fabi and Gebert met in Munich and spent a great deal of time collaborating before moving to Brooklyn in 2010 and starting Haerts. Their first two singles, “Wings” and “All the Days,” were met with success. “Wings” was regularly featured on the radio while “All the Days” was dubbed song of the summer by Elle and featured in the 2013 film Carrie. The success of their singles led them to their first EP, Hemiplegia, in 2013 and their 2014 debut self-titled album in 2014. Over the years, Haerts went from a duo to quintet and then back to a duo, exploring their sound along the way and getting a taste of working with a major label like Columbia. Since the split of their bandmates, Fabi and Gebert have returned to where it all started as a duo and are working with indie label Arts & Crafts. With more flexibility and diction over their music and an embracing of transformations, fans should be eager to see what this next chapter holds for Haerts and what creative genius their latest album will bring to the table.
