Goatz

Chris K and his friends are "old goats," hence the name GOATZ! They've been around a while, kicking dirt, eating cans, that sorta thing. Originally formed in 2003 with his wife Pattie, Chris took a break from performing for several years before reforming the band in 2015. Miss Pattie, aka Mrs Goat, passed away in February 2016 from metastatic melanoma. Goat and his friends decided to keep the music going. Chris has been at this since the '70s, performing across the US, and in Canada and Great Britain, playing in direct support of Guy Clark, Jim Lauderdale, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Reckless Kelly, the Railbenders and others. He was a founding member of the 90s era Southern-rock jam band Alien Cowboy in Fort Collins.
