Flowy, girly, soft, vulnerable - francene rouelle writes songs that feel like a hug. Based in Austin, Texas, the 22-year old singer-songwriter explores the stages of processing a toxic relationship in her 2024 debut EP,“finally a fairytale.” Living on a farm with her Filipino family has nurtureda songwriting style of warmth and creativity as she defines a new space for herself in Asian Pop. As a first generation Filipina, francene aims to build a community that shares a love for music and helps listeners find a strong sense of belonging within her songs and her story. Emulating the unserious and clever lyricism of Sabrina Carpenter, francene takes a listener through the healing after a breakup, learning to love again, and giving it to someone who deserves it. Her comforting voice weaves together both dance and romance, delivering addictive melodies on top of the versatile production of Cambodian producer waverly.
