Explode Into Colors

Explode Into Colors is an experimental band from Portland. Launched in 2008, the trio of drummer Lisa Schonberg, percussionist Heather Treadway and vocalist and guitarist Claudia Meza quickly became a must-see act in Portland and won the "Best New Band" title from local paper Willamette Week in 2009. They released an EP on Kill Rock Stars, then abruptly called it quits in 2011. The group recently reunited for a pair of benefit shows in Portland.
