Alex Mabey

Independent Folk Singer/Songwriter and Washington State native Alex Mabey, attended Belmont University right out of high school shortly until leaving to travel the country and abroad to see what sound would authentically cultivate by immersing herself in other cultures and adventures. In the last decade, alongside working with youth nonprofits and outreach, she released five independent albums, showcased at music industry events, and opened for artists ranging from Amy Grant and Wynonna Judd to Liz Longley and Paul Cauthen. Upon moving back to Nashville in 2018 in full pursuit of her music, she garnered fan support in 2021 by raising over $46,000 to independently release and market her upcoming album, “The Waiting Room”. Her raspy, soaring, powerhouse vocals deliver her heart-wrenching story of finding strength in her faith while navigating the decision to leave her marriage while battling autoimmune illness. Though not without its occasional challenges, she now walks in health and freedom with a mission to bring healing and empowerment to others.
